General Purpose polypropylene film offers superior barrier properties to minimize evaporation and prevent well-to-well contamination. Recommended for general laboratory use, short-term storage, incubation and ELIZA. Provides a very secure seal to minimize evaporation and is slightly harder to remove than SealPlate films. Manufactured with polypropylene that reduces aerosols upon removal and features good chemical resistance. Specially formulated adhesive minimizes plate residue. Certified DNase and RNase free and -40·C to +120°C temperature range.

Ideal for use with polypropylene plates.Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Features good chemical resistance. Provides a very secure seal to minimize evaporation, but is slightly harder to remove than SealPlate films. Less rigid polypropylene film reduces aerosols upon removal. Specially formulated adhesive minimizes plate residue. Can be used as a temporary seal while awaiting further processing.
Alkali Scientific Xtreme™ High-Strength Sealing Film, Large, 100/pk
Xtreme™ Seal features an extra-strong thick adhesive to minimize evaporation, yet removes easily without leaving residue on the plate. Features chamfered corners to eliminate plate overhang for robotics applications and tight storage conditions. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Ideal for use with raised-rim and non-skirted PCR plates. Selection of the proper film size will minimize evaporation. The film should not overhang or ride up the wall of a raised-rim plate. More complete coverage of skirted flat-top plates will reduce evaporation in the outer wells. End-tab removal before thermal cycling is highly recommended.
